W C Robinson the Grinnell bird man and student Miles Irmis completed a 25 mile flight from Grinnell to Marshalltown in twenty minutes. Irmis largely piloted the monoplane as the crew fires. Robinson plans a Grinnell to Ames hop via Marshalltown for a farmers picnic.

Iowa Banks Gain Federal Reserve Privileges Under New Law
Des Moines reports Iowa savings banks now eligible to join the Federal Reserve System after recent legislature actions. The measures let savings institutions carry the same reserve against time certificates as for savings accounts, fixing unequal reserves with commercial accounts. Also, national banks may act as executors and trustees after organizing a savings bank.
