Cummins at Algona Draws Overflow Audience
A large crowd gathered at the Algona opera house Monday evening to hear Hon. A. B. Cummins. Despite hoarseness, he delivered an hour and three quarters of eloquent speech praising the nation, the flag, and Republican leadership. The event featured music by the 52nd regiment band and readings by Gertrude Cary and Tellier, with notable attendees including Geo. C. Call, editors, and local residents.
