Judge Lewis Jordan of Washington, formerly Corydon, Indiana, found a mahogany desk in a Georgetown shop covered in dirt. Andrew D Barr died Saturday at nine pm after a long illness marked by periods of recovery. Born September 20 1857 in Mercer County Pennsylvania he moved to Fayette Iowa then to the county of note. He married Helen Blanchard in 1883 and later Anna Herrick Everett in 1898 leaving three children Mabel Morgan Edith Matson and John. Survived by a sister in Oelwein and four brothers. Funeral service at the M Fy church with Rev Spray officiating and interment at River View cemetery.
