We Remember Asa K News and Mrs Asa Smith Death Notice
We Remember Asa K News is received of the death of Mrs Asa Smith in an insane hospital in Wisconsin where she had been for ten years or more. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Hinton formerly of this place now of West Bend. Asa K Smith, an odd character, once owned a farm north of town and was married to Ella Hinton. They lived here years and moved to Canada where he still resides. The old settlers remember Asa K and his peculiarities and his claim that the longer he lived the older he grew. He once thought he was dead when the body of a stranger lay in the sheriff's office. He visited and declared that cannot be me. Remember."
