She is small pretty about years old and may have left with another man, though her brother Charles Keeny suspects no such affair.

Spokane report details Chief Tomanawas leading Yakima remnants in a farewell ceremony marking the tribe’s departure from their Columbia River valley hunting and fishing grounds near White Glufds in Douglas County. The rite features a death chant by squaws, a long historical address, fasting, a final river burial, and canoes sending the departed away to rest.

Newton Kansas April 3 William T Carr arrested charged with the murder of Oscar A Bailey ex express messenger killed in his car between Florence and Newton last Sunday morning and the robbery of the express car. Carr taken to Marion jailed eight unsafe here on count of feeling against him. Blood spattered trove left at a cleaners led to arrest. Overcoat with blood found in billiard hall pockets jewelry identified as taken from the express car. Carr employed by the express company three years fellow classmate of Bailey. Box with $993 of the $1.6 million stolen found under a show window in billiard hall.
