A Buckley Mil man showed a German flag on his 400 acre farm and refused to remove it. Government officials jailed him, sent him to Washington, then back to Germany with $15, never to return. He had made his fortune here before his expulsion.

Iowa Coal Storing Advice From State Fuel Official
R H Holbrook urges Iowa households to store low lump coal safely in dry basements with a cement floor.
