Leonard Woods plans to attend Des Moines auto show. Georgia Smith visits Eagle Grove friends.
Alden seconds defeated the Iowa Falls B squad at Alden after a hard fought game. Alden led by four at halftime, pulled away in the final stanza with 20 points in the last quarter. Coach Cain refereed the game and Burt Olson coached the Alden boys.

For three weeks eighth grade has avoided measles. Attendance remained high until Friday afternoon when disruptions occurred due to Arthur Crandall. Lowell Janke was absent Monday. Six weeks tests are planned for Thursday and Friday. Reading class uses reading and living books instead of Elson.
