Miss Vera Tordoff Stands In For Teacher After Grandmother’s Death
Miss Vera Tordoff substituted for Miss Irene Cox last week due to the death of Mrs. Graham, grandmother of the Jaters. Funeral services for Mrs. Graham were held last Tuesday forenoon at her daughter Elmer Cox’s home, with burial in Oskaloosa on Thursday. Mrs. Graham, 88, had lived with her daughter in Salem for years. Also noted: Mrs. Ole Warwick and son visited Watt family, Walter Anders family visited Jass, and Elizabeth Watt spent time with her son James Watt’s family.
