Local visits fill Webster City week with social calls

Salem News notes Mrs Albert Tordoff and family along with Mrs Elizabeth Watt visited Wednesday in the Will Bashford home in Webster City. Mr and Mrs Howard Woods called Wednesday evening at Roy Gilmore's. Pearl Hartman visited several days last week with Mrs Will Donelson and family. Leona Montandon Mary Tijarks Tinceline Silvey Mrs Will Donelson and Pearl Hartman were at school the past week. Albert Tordoff and Clarence Larson families visited Sunday at the Thomas Tordoff home.

Mr and Mrs Fred Peterson and family were dinner guests with Aaron Madden. Margaret Collins returns to teaching after a short vacation. Mr and Mrs Floyd Elliott hosted Hex sister Mrs Edw Peet for a Sunday visit. Merle Tilden an electrical engineer from Chicago spent New Years with Edw Peet. Mr and Mrs A W Lee and children of Webster City visited Clyde Goodman Sunday. Merle Tilden of Chicago Olive Peet and Ken Wilkins of Stanwood were dinner guests with Floyd Elliott near Bradford. After a short visit Mr and Mrs A W Lee departed.

Wedding Bells At Buckeye For Lutterman Bushman

Josephine Lutterman and JIavin Bushman wed at Evergreen church south of Buckeye in a ceremony conducted by Rev. R. M. Smith. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lutterman, grew up near Buckeye and attended Buckeye High School. The groom is the son of Warren Bushman near McCallsburg, a former McCallsburg student. The couple reside on the McCallsburg farm and were received by friends to start a life together.
