Albert Bork, who celebrated his 80th birthday on Christmas, died at his Buckeye area farm last Friday after moving to Hardin county with his wife Gustie Vierkandt in 1885. He leaves six children Fred Otto Herman and three daughters, all but one living nearby. Funeral services were held at Cottage church Sunday at 2 PM with burial in Cottage cemetery.

Grace Radohl 46 died at the Buckeye area farm after two paralytic strokes last Friday night. She was born April 15, 1886 and married to George Radohl in 1908, leaving a husband, two daughters Lois and Ardelle, a mother, siblings, and many Buckeye-area relatives. Funeral services were held at the Evangelical church in Buckeye with burial in Buckeye cemetery. Charles Lake, a farmer, died at Ellsworth hospital in Iowa Falls late Sunday night from pneumonia. He leaves a widow and six children, two sons and four daughters, plus two sisters, a brother, and his parents.

Car owners face storage rules and penalties for 1933 licenses
Many drivers fear a one dollar monthly penalty if they fail to pay the 1933 license fee. Some believe partial year storage is allowed. the law requires full payment for the year plus monthly penalties unless storage is declared to the county treasurer before January 1. Drivers’ licenses issued in 1932 remain valid for two years or until January 1, 1934.
Des Moines Man Held for Car Crash
Perry Burns of Des Moines was held on bond after a collision with a parked car in Iowa Falls last Saturday evening. He faces a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Burns, accompanied by his wife and three children, was en route to Mason City. the woman and girl were severely injured while Burns and the others were lightly injured. Relatives traveled from Mason City to assist.

Transient Lodger Lost Cigarettes at Cedar Rapids Station
