Lyceum Organizes Entertains Audience at Alden Library
About 100 people gathered in the Alden library basement last Friday for the opening meeting of the Alien Lyceum organized by local High School Or chists. Dr George Bigelow read letters from Stephen Wilted and George Birdnall. Kay Hagensler and Prof Hanson spoke for the affirmative, Rev Northrop for the negative. Officers elected include President H. B. Betton and Secretary L. S. Party. The group adjourned to January 1918 for the next gathering. readers are asked to help locate the last Alden Lyceum secretary and by laws.
