Fatal Gun Wounds End Life of Gallup Railroad Man
Bernard T. Woodmansee 26, a railroad worker from Gallup, died at St. Mary's hospital after being shot Friday by Asa Bell Edwards of Winslow. Woodmansee lived over 40 hours with gunshot wounds to heart and left lung. Edwards surrendered to the sheriff, saying he acted after fear for his wife when Woodmansee peered in his window.
