Jury found him not guilty of conspiracy with Schmidt to counterfeit US gold certificates after four hours of deliberation amid a stormy court session.
On the Colorado coal fields miners clash with guards in a tense sequence of three violent confrontations. Soldiers move toward the scene as strikes unfold amid rising unrest and escalating violence.
