Joseph W. Ogden a prominent figure in finance and manufacturing died in New York last night at about 70. He formerly served as a director and vice president of the New York Susquehanna and Western railroad and as a director of several major manufacturing concerns. Ogden lived in Morristown New Jersey where he bred prize winning horses and was a former vice president of the National Horse Show association.
For twenty four hours ending yesterday at p pm the maximum temperature reached 78 degrees and the minimum varied within a range. At 6 p m the temperature stood at 54 degrees with a south wind and partly cloudy conditions.

Cincinnati reports the American Public Health Association closes its meeting electing President Dr. William A. Evans of Chicago, Secretary S. M. Gunn of Boston, and Treasurer Dr. Lee M. Frankel of New York.
