A single weekend collision was reported to police BRunday. Daisy Avensta Honner drove a car that struck HM. EB. Hart on North Arno Street and East Ti jterns avenue breaking the running board. Hart, a Santa Fe resident connected with the Santa Fe New Mexican, sustained no major injuries.
A string of earthquakes from Friday night to Sunday devastated Leninakan and surrounding towns in Armenia. More than 400 killed, hundreds injured, and 100,000 made homeless as telegraphs failed and fires burned. American relief teams aided orphans and evacuated thousands to shelter, while regional governments sent aid and Red Cross units. The Garden of Eden area, Araxes valley, suffered widespread destruction including cattle losses.

A 46 year old farmer, Tyula Garcia, and his wife Katie Colman were wounded in separate hunting related incidents on a New Mexico ranch. Garcia was shot in the hip and pelvis by his helper as a rifle discharged. Colman was seriously wounded in the thigh when her son accidentally fired toward her. Garcia was moved to St Joseph’s hospital in critical condition and surgery was planned for the bladder injury. Colman’s prospects were cautiously hopeful barring infection.
Thomas Moore ten year old son of Mr and Mrs A Moore of 600 North Fourteenth street was badly burned Sunday afternoon when powder from cartridges used in a play at New York and Twelfth street flared up after he touched a match to the powder grains His eyes eyebrows hair and body suffered flames and blistering and fear was expressed for his sight as doctors awaited further reports.
At Shanghai West Gate police station a night assault by pro Cantonese radicals left one dead two seriously wounded and fourteen wounded as bombs and gunfire erupted. Police fired overhead and mob charges were repelled amid martial law with guards at French boundaries and checks on pedestrians.

Seven convicts launched a broke for freedom at the Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City. Buckshot from guards wounded five inmates while a guard was stabbed. Two convicts were believed dying and another prisoner faced serious injuries. The revolt began in B cell house and moved to the twine and shirt factories as guards attempted to subdue the escapees.
Two motorists reported missing spare tires in separate incidents. Lawrence Dobkins of Isleta said his tire was stolen from a car parked near St Joseph's between 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday night. Toriane Rueborne of 316 Stanford Avenue reported a tire stolen from her car while it was in a garage.
