The British report from Rev. H. and T. Gahan describes Edith Cavell’s calm facing execution and her faith in her final hours. In Westlake park district Los Angeles two policemen shot a motorcycle rider and passenger. One boy Nohin Lehr died at the scene and the other Arthur Ward was fatally wounded after police attempted to halt the machine. Ward claimed ownership of the motorcycle. The officers Cahill and Shamo said they thought the motorcycle had been stolen.
