In Santa Fe on October 19 a petition filed in federal court asks that Albuquerque merchant Joe De Lallo formerly of Cerrillos be declared bankrupt. Creditors Gross Kelly and Co. Charles Tifeld Co. and Tt. P. Putney Inc. claim totals of 1101.71 103.68 and 384.74. De Lallo’s stock and fixtures were ruined by a Cerrillos fire last April. They allege insurance of 6500 was conveyed to First National Bank of Albuquerque on June 8, forming the basis for a bankruptcy act. Arthur Deeley of Ruidoso filed a voluntary petition with debts of 3041.64 and assets none.

State funds held at Roswell bank after closure

Joint army navy air service plan aims ten year build up

Ranchman Drops Dead After Employee Shot by Murderer
Hemingford Nebraska October 19 A ranch owner W H Keister collapsed and died from shock while carrying the body of Fred Ward who was shot by laborer Lee Master. Ward was killed as he milked a cow. Master was later found with a bullet wound believed self inflicted. Witnesses described a quarrel that led to the shooting.
