In St Louis on October 19 the two delegates Fred Warner and F W Priesmeyer posted $2000 bonds after arrest for taking bribe money to push a garage permit on Delmar boulevard for Henry Ascher. Five marked $100 bills were alleged paid by Ascher, later recovered from City National bank by authorities.
