El Paso Texas October 17 George Carothers urged the American Red Cross to investigate and assist about 3000 women and children camp followers of the Villa army sent from Casas Grandes to Juarez to aid mobile movements. They received food enough to reach Juarez but winter plans are unclear and aid is needed.
Bucharest dispatch to the Berlin Kreuz Zeitung says Hungarian troops entered Belgrade as Crown Prince Alexander personally directed the defense to the last moment. Several of the prince's staff were captured or killed in the fighting.
