General Sherman at Reunion of Army of the Tennessee

The sixteenth annual reunion of the Society of the Army of the Tennessee opened in Cleveland Ohio with Gen Sherman as president. Generals Hancock Crook Pryor Madison and others sent regrets. Gov. Denver Man Commits Suicide After Prolonged Spree

James W True, a Denver grocer, shot himself in his store after a long drinking spree. He had come to Denver from Michigan two years earlier with a woman who later vanished, leaving his wife and children behind. He was about 40, living alone since placing his wife in St Luke’s hospital.
