Probe into Standard and allies probe sparks contempt arrest

Jefferson City Mo Oct 16 W D Vandiver superintendent of the state insurance department sent an official communication to St Louis attorneys of the New York Life Insurance company. He says their letter is an answer to his demand for immediate management change and refund of monies to allow continued business. The U S circuit court opened arguments on Senator Burton Kansas in a case accusing him of taking compensation for services before the Rialto Grain and Securities matter.
