Springfield Missouri October 15 five moonshiners named George Conner Billy Anderson Charles Simpson George Baker and Boze Jacob Kellan pleaded guilty in federal court to illegal whiskey making and were fined 200 each and given sixty days in jail. They were part of the Conner gang arrested during a raid on their stills in the hills of Oregon and Ripley counties last spring. The plea followed Jim Dobbs confession leading officers to additional stills locations.
