Reports from Fountain Colorado say Lee Hill the African American suspect was arrested near there for assaulting Miss Stella Beggs a Santa Fe telegraph operator. The train crew found the suspect and turned him over to sheriff's deputies. Beggs identified Hill this afternoon and officials averted a lynching.
