Former President Theodore Roosevelt takes an aeroplane flight near St Louis, circling an aviation field at high speed. He waves to thousands as Wright airplane pilot Arch Hoxsey oversees the daring trip, declaring it the finest experience he has had.
The thirteenth census figures show Roanoke Virginia with 4 974 population an 18 378 increase or 62 4 percent Tampa Florida at 8 594 rising 22 085 or 142 2 percent over 1900 results.

He says he suffered a broken leg and ankle, hip bruising, head and neck injuries and spinal damage from stunts and rough handling during initiation.
Lorimer J. Schitt of New York named to the Union Pacific board to fill a vacancy caused by H. W. Valentine’s resignation. The remaining directors were reelected. Union Pacific Land Co directors also chosen. Oregon Short Line to meet tomorrow with plans to raise capital to 100 million dollars for system improvements and expansions.
