Congressman Flood and W C McDonald will speak to New Mexico residents at the armory on Saturday night about the campaign and the key issues in the fight.
A large night demonstration will follow the Saturday morning convention at the Elks Opera House. Organizers pledge a torchlit procession through the city as part of the Democratic gathering.

Austin Pa Oct 1 two more bodies were recovered from the ruins of the Bayless Pulp and Paper dam disaster bringing deaths to sixty six. Cleanup extended along Sonnemahon outside Austin and Cos Tell. The Austin Relief Association handles cloth ing for the needy while commissary distributes food to about five hundred families and 1,200 workers remain. Local business men show little drive to reopen stores as no grocery opened today and stock sold out.
The Navy placed the armored cruiser Bt. Louis in commission as a reserve ship at Puget Sound Navy Yard to build a larger Pacific coast reserve.
