Two brothers Herbert and 15 year old Robert Hickey hunted near Vallecito in the Jemez country. The younger Hickey died after a shotgun discharged as he turned with the weapon. Herbert sought help from camp workers and family, with responders including Frank Andrews and John Raymann. The tragedy occurred around 3 50 PM.

Convicted Defendants Sentenced by Judge Helmick
Four defendants convicted by the district court petit jury were sentenced by Judge Milton J. Helmick on Tuesday.
