Pensacola, Fla. October. Captain Joseph Lebleave and eight men of the fishing schooner Caldwell H. Colt, held in a Mexican prison at Progreso since September 4 with no consulate contact for seven days, were released. The vessel was towed to Progreso for repairs after a severe storm damaged the schooner in the weeks prior.

Green and associates allegedly conspired with Conductor Maynard to bring Chinese into the United States, receiving one year and one day in prison.
