Nomination of W Donald for New Mexico Governor Stirs Santa Fe
The Morning Journal reports W C McDonald of Carrizozo was chosen unanimously by New Mexico Democrats in Santa Fe to be their governor candidate. His speech called for open government and state unity, as a rousing demonstration followed the nomination. The convention adopted a platform backing statehood, direct primaries, tariff reform, and English language literacy.
