Twenty-five were jailed and authorities dispersed the mob. A socialist speaker, Mrs. Ann Lockwood of Kalamazoo, was among four arrested for inciting riot earlier at the Quinesy mine.
Floods along the Rio Grande cause heavy damage to Mexican poor families in Laredo Texas. Huts along the river bank are swept away and railroad washouts halt train service for forty eight hours. The river is receding today.
