Crowds fill the border town streets as Juarez resumes normal commerce after the Arte Revolt. The third Mich unit faces trial amid bustling cafes and saloons. Trade and daily life regain pace while authorities manage the crowd activity.
Federal authorities pursue Feliciano Valverde leader of the Forty third regiment uprising in Juarez after a two hour battle at the customs house. Seven rebels and other casualties reported as Juarez returns to normal life amid crowds and lingering curiosity.
Denver notes fair conditions on Monday with little temperature change. New Mexico expected fair on Monday and probably Tuesday with similar temperatures. Arizona likewise fair through Monday and likely Tuesday with only modest temperature change.

The American association season ends with St Paul as champion posting 197 wins and 60 losses. Minneapolis Kansas City and Indianapolis follow in that order. St Paul, led by Manager Mike Kelly, heads to Baltimore to face the International league pennant winner in a series beginning Wednesday for overall title.

In Hutchinson five hundred inmates at the Kansas Reformatory received Bibles from the Gideons, with similar presentations in Hutchinson Salina and Wichita to mark the Bible revision anniversary. J H Nicholson of Denver spoke of a goal to place Bibles in every American hotel room, recounting the origin of the Gideon organization from a Boston hotel meeting.
