Waite J Keeney's residence was burgled Thursday night while the couple were away. A rear door was used and clothing, a $15 purse, and jewelry were stolen valued at about 600 dollars. Special Officers Gaither Nolan and Will Hawkins pursued the suspect as he tried to flee on train 22, capturing Jose Garcia with the loot. Garcia pleaded guilty at a preliminary hearing and was jailed in Los Lunas after a prior 30 day sentence for vice tolerance.
