Chicago Infant Found Dead By Fifteen Parents
A six week old infant in Chicago was found dead in its crib from chloroform, by parents John B R Allen and his wife in a hotel suite. The room showed signs of disturbance but the door was locked. Detectives questioned the nurse and studied a bottle and cloth saturated with chloroform found in the room. Police note a pass key could have opened the door.

Aged prospector dies after long desert wandering
