Dr. Harold Blazer of Littleton Colorado was freed after a hung jury led to a motion to dismiss the murder charge in the death of his 34 year old severely disabled daughter Hazel. Judge Samuel Johnson dropped all charges saying a verdict was unlikely and the public would see the outcome as acquittal.
