IO Sentenced to Santa Fe Jail on Prohibition Charge

Former Clayton Bank Cashier Sentenced Here
G. W. Blakely, former cashier of the Clayton National Bank, pleaded guilty in federal court to misapplication of about $3,000 and received eight months in Santa Fe county jail on each of two counts, to run concurrently. J. H. Scott, assistant cashier, also pleaded guilty and drew two concurrent two year sentences in the penitentiary, suspended on good behavior with restitution of $3,000 of which $700 has been paid.

Confessed Slayer of Two Is Sentenced to Hang
Denver November 9 Ray F. Shank confessed slayer of his wife and son at their home on September 16 was formally sentenced by District Judge Charles Lark to be hanged between February 7 and February 13, 1926. The defense motion for a new trial was overruled. Shank offered no remark and showed little emotion as he returned to his jail cell and ate a hearty meal.

Former Officer of Local Bank Fined in Federal Case
Jerre Haggard former vice president of the State Trust and Savings bank of Albuquerque withdrew a demurrer to two counts of a 57 count indictment charging false entry abstraction and misapplication of funds.
