Evelyn Cunningham 12 Louise Corgial 16 and C W Butcher 37 a plumber died after the two girls slipped into six feet of water while playing and Butcher, rushing to aid them, plunged in with clothes on and drowned. He leaves a wife and three children.

Scottsbluff Nebraska May 30. Memorial and Thanksgiving day were observed by hundreds of North Platte valley farmers after a settlement with the interior department ends a dispute over irrigation payments.
