Five Die in Los Angeles Area Railroad Crossing Crash
A collision near Rivers California between a Pacific Electric car and an automobile killed five people and injured one. The dead are Jerry Kaufmann 40 and Mrs Kaufmann 38 and their son 8 Mrs Hollingsworth 22 and Harry Hollingsworth 35 the telegrapher. Hazel Kaufmann 13 fatally injured. The Kaufmanns recently moved from Cedar Edge Colorado and Kearney Nebraska. The Hollingsworths came from Denver Colorado six months ago. The car struck the electric car at 20 to 25 mph the electric car driver applied brakes but the impact smashed wheels and sent the auto through a milk platform. The dead lie in Los Angeles morgue the wounded in Whittier hospital. No charges filed yet as investigators review the case.

Motorcycle Riders Die In Hawthorne Collision
Four motorcycle riders crashed at sixty miles per hour in front of the Hawthorne race track grandstand during the opening lap of a ten mile race. Woman killed rushing to father's deathbed in Indiana crash
