Chicago reports Mrs Dolly Lagan Tucker wife of Colonel William F Tucker US Army retired sought separate maintenance but was refused temporary alimony by the Superior Court. The item notes the couple’s litigation and court action.
The fire military tribunal today sentenced ward H. Washington May 10 test begun in Omaha as 100nd arrangements can be perfected of the decision of Secretary of Agriculture Wilson in the bleached flour case. The announcement was made today by Attorney General Wickersham to Senator Brown of Nebraska, Secretary Wilson held that it is a violation of the pure food law to bleach flour in order to give the appearance of pure whiteness to flour made from the soft or praties of wheat.

Seattle May 19 B Smith known as Shanghai Smith a saloon keeper and Crimp committed suicide shooting here today after his wife obtained a divorce decree yesterday. For ten years Smith ran a waterfront saloon and sailors resort and his depressing of seamen caused trouble to vessel tasters and police.
A grand jury forms a small committee to view Abdul Hamid in Salonika and urge repayment of funds allegedly on deposit abroad. The panel reminds the deposed sultan of his monthly allowance of 5,000 and asks him to surrender money drawn from the country. It is believed he will consent.
