He was a bridge carpenter with the Poreman lines gang and his injuries likely fatal. Flagler s condition unchanged.
A 1.5 million dollar corporation began surveying for the Santo Rowan Palmay and Albuquerque railroad. The line would cross the New Mexico Central at Moriarty and extend into coal regions south of Santa Fe. Belle Valley Ohio May 18 The Imperial mine disaster left fourteen miners dead and one rescuer. Rescuers recovered fifteen bodies by nightfall with Henry Fairhurst Robert Alton Henry Dudley among the deceased. State mining officials will open an investigation tomorrow. Rey Yeager survived the blast and was carried 300 feet by the explosion.
Norman Hapgood announces Harper's Weekly will be published by McClure Publications Incorporated. With Hapgood as new owner the Harper's Weekly officers and managers remain largely unchanged and no radical changes are planned.
