William T. La Follette, 66 and brother of Senator Robert M. La Follette, died in Madison on April 20 after a prolonged illness from heart disease. He previously served as receiver of public moneys at the Chamberlain land office and railroad commissioner of South Dakota, and was the Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor there in 1908, but was defeated.
