The dead body of Mrs. H. C. O'Rear was found in a blood spattered room at Kelly. Police believe she was strangled in what is described as a murder inquiry in progress.
Ernest O Rear is jailed in Socorro County awaiting a preliminary hearing after being charged with beating and strangling his mother Mrs Frc O Rear to death in Kelly. The crime allegedly involved prolonged drinking and a fight with a shovel leaving blunt and neck injuries. A coroner verdict ruled death due to wounds from the assault. neighbors report violent outbursts and a tense scene in the home.
A 16 year old girl, Magen, is charged with murdering her sister Elizabeth by administering strychnine. The case was bound over to the grand jury in Mansition, Glo, with proceedings continuing at the court in Wahe today.
