During the day the council deadlocked 6 to 6 on H T Andrews nomination to the railroad commission, replacing him with Geo I Stoneman of Globe Sime Ely of Phoenix and M Bieknel of Tucson appointed to the body.
Montreal March 18 Mark Cunningham engineer of the Boston train that telescoped Windsor street station yesterday died early today. His death brings the fifth fatality from the accident and the actual cause of the locomotive running out of control will likely remain unknown.
