Felix R. Jones of Fort Worth was held to the grand jury without bond after the Lyons murder hearing. T. J. Coggin and Millard Coggin faced $20,000 bonds. T. J. posted while Mil lard expected to post tomorrow. Lyons, a New Mexico rancher, was killed after meeting a man at Union Station. The widow offered a $10,000 reward for the killers.
A ten percent increase in shoe repair rates ordered by the Denver Master Shoe Repair Association takes effect in June. President Henri Warnecke notes prices may rise to twenty five percent if leather costs and war demands escalate. several shops have already quit business due to low profits.

In San Francisco June a plane crash claimed the life of Amir ia Woodworth son of Mea Rath Woodworth and descendant of poet Samuel Woodworth. He served as an American ambulance corps volunteer and later became an aviator rising to lieutenant before his death. A cablegram from cousin Arthur Bechell notified Mrs Woodworth of the loss.
