A 200 ton boiler explosion at the Denver Gas and Electric plant on Sixth and Lawrence halted lights citywide for over two hours. Four dead, nine injured, many missing. debris injured workers and nearby residents. Rescue crews, police, and hospitals mobilized as power is restored and damage tallies reach into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Omaha June 15 Major Gilchrist Sergeant Buller and Privates Schmidt Ineram Harrison Goodman and Dowler and acting Cook Daily of the United States Army were inoculated with typhoid fever serum to test the new vaccine. They are expected to be sick for 48 hours with high fever and nausea. Re inoculation is planned in ten days if no alarming symptoms arise.
Word from North Sydney Nova Scotia reports a clash on the Newfoundland banks between the American fishing schooner Senator Gardner of Gloucester Mass and four French steam trawlers. The American captain fired with rifles. no injuries are believed.

Steamboat Springs June Vb J W Colbert and W Smith were killed and Arthur Atlen fatally injured in an Oak Hill Mining tunnel accident two miles north of Yampa. The three men boarded a coal car and descended the incline when the break failed, sending the car and its occupants sliding toward the tunnel heading.
Wire dispatch from Manila reports a mutiny by the Philippine Constabulary at Davao on June 6. One sergeant and twenty-two privates mutinied. five Americans including Captain Allen Walker of the Philippine Scouts were wounded.
