In Krowkton Josie Tretheway declares she was married to Joba Johnson, now believed Maden, and accuses him of bigamy after he sought $500 for railroad tickets for himself and her daughter. The claim states the Ban Jose ceremony occurred last April 27.
Lola Kansas July report states John Matson was arrested in San Francisco on a digamy charge after promising to marry Elizabeth N Jackson. Mrs Bea brook alleges Matson used marriage fraud to extract about $2000 and urged her to travel to Kansas, then vanished after plans for the wedding collapsed. She vows to prosecute Maddison.

San Diego July 9. After hours of searching the bay area the bodies of William Bates and his wife were recovered. Bates son of WS Bates editor of the San Diego Union and two male companions were returning from a midnight row when their craft overturned near the wharf. Bates reportedly attempted to save his wife and disappeared beneath the water. The two male companions were rescued.
Chicago police arrest fugitive John A. Black on a warrant charging embezzlement of 16540 from the Toenon Building and Loan in Tucson Arizona. Suspect taken into custody in Chicago following the active warrant.
Chaos erupts as a large Holivian mob attacks the Argentine legation in La Pas and Peru protests a recent decision by President Alcorta. Troops guard the legations while discussions about the Acre district, recently sold to Brazil for 16 million, intensify regional friction.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Victor ine de Pines extended invitations to the foreign ministers of Reolivia and Pere, accredited to Argentina, to visit the foreign office and review the arbitral ruling issued by President Alcorta on the bounds.
Former Democratic national chairman Thomas Taggart from French Lick Springs testified to clearing his name after his name appeared in the Gingles case.
