John Kammerer 37 was executed in Wheaton Illinois for the Villa Park killing of Otto Eder his wife and three children on June 27 1924. The trap was sprung at 10 41 am and Kammerer died three minutes later after confessing to Assistant State's Attorney Wynne Knoch. He used an ax in the attack.
