Francisco Obregon, elder brother of Gen Alvaro Obregon, is held prisoner by Villa in western Chihuahua. Trevino reports Villa uses him as a hostage while Obregon orders pursuit.
Houston Tex Dec 27 The Sunset Central lines announce plans for 251 track miles of ninety pound steel rails in 1916. Along with rail laying and prior purchase, the total expenditure exceeds 2 000 000 with a further 1 218 000 to be spent on additional advancement projects.
