Death of Mark Twain daughter Jean Clemens in bathtub tragedy
Jean Clemens, Mark Twain's 30 year old daughter, died at Stormfield after an epilepsy attack led to apparent drowning or strangulation in the bathtub. The body was found with limited water in the lungs. Clemens, aged 74, remains at Stormfield as burial plans are set in Elmira, N.Y. Funeral for Jean to be held Sunday at the Langdon home.
