Robert Capelle and Joseph Ries sentencing postponed to January 2.
Edward A. Stettinius second assistant secretary of War and ally munitions council member arrived aboard the Cedric after a year abroad. He will report to the War Department and head home to Europe in January to assess reconstruction, praising the unification plan’s efficiency and foreseeing French resilience and Belgian hardship needing aid.

Livingston Mont Dec 23 M Harvey Republican state chairman and leading Montana attorney died at 6 tonight from a fractured skull after a fall to the sidewalk in a fist fight on the street. Attacker Postmaster J Swindlehuret surrendered to the sheriff and is jailed.
London December 3 The decorations of London for President Wilsons visit will be on a splendid scale. Buckingham Palace activity increases as preparations proceed for the presidents entertainment. Mrs Wilsons status creates etiquette questions at court during the stay.
