Raudette Minn December 19. Tony Reamer sought in the death of Mrs. Elsie Wheeler at a northern cabin. Reamer, about 32, 5 ft 10 in, 180 pounds, dark brown hair brown eyes, prominent nose, tattoo on left forearm, has fled Beamer’s cabin earlier this month.
Denver area reports fair weather for New Mexico through Sunday with warmth east regions. Arizona also sees fair conditions with little temperature change. Local university readings show clear skies and low precipitation in the twenty four hour period ending 6 p m yesterday.
The note lists sunrise at 1 a m and sunset at 4 53 p m for Santa Fe time and Albuquerque time. It mentions December sun changes with earlier rise by six to one minute and later sunset by minutes.

Clyde Bracco a 13 year old pupil at Globe high school swallowed a watch the size of a sliver dollar on school grounds. The watch lodged behind the upper sternum and could not be found by X rays or available instruments. He vomited up the watch with aid of medicine, and the watch was removed within two hours after the incident.
Rep. Britten of Illinois proposes 101 million dollars for naval expansion. Four scout cruisers costing 11.1 million each, one floating dry dock at 7.56 million, and raising the cost limit for the aircraft carriers Lexington and Saratoga to 33 million. Turret gun upgrades planned for many battleships at 6.56 million. Britten says updates are needed to match Britain and hearings will reveal navy condition.
Representative Britten of Illinois advanced a naval construction bill seeking 101.4 million dollars for four scout cruisers at 11.1 million each, a dry dock at 7.5 million, turret elevation upgrades for thirteen battleships at 6.5 million, and an increase to 33 million for two aircraft carriers Lexington and Saratoga. The measure was referred to the naval committee for hearings to gather navy condition data, amid broader arms conference debates and a note on British views of gun elevation.
The Senate is expected to take up the Underwood proposal before the Christmas recess as progress noted on the measure continues. Party leaders forecast completion or substantial movement in the near term.

A fire at Mrs Olive Jones home on Stanievs Run Ohio left four children dead Louise Jones 11 Hazel Jones 17 Alice Myers 4 Hazel Myers 2. A woman injured seriously and two others slightly hurt. The grandchildren of Mrs Jones perished in the blaze.
Testimony before the Senate veterans bureau probe shows Hilas H. Mortimer sought to destroy Charles Forbes. Dr. George Tullidge testified Mortimer vowed to “get Forbes” and pressured his wife to testify. others corroborated tensions over hospital contracts and alleged bribes.
Chicago reports the formation of the I Will Legion of the Mississippi Valley to boost waterways and valley interests across 19 states. William R. McCauley, ex commander of Illinois American Legion, leads as president. The group plans a monthly magazine, state branches, and collaboration with civic groups.
The Senate adopted a resolution expressing profound regret for the death of California Representative Julius Kahn and, on motion of Senator Johnson, Republican California, adjourned until noon tomorrow as a further mark of respect.

Denver police capture Robert Evans, wanted for the slaying of Raton New Mexico Patrolman Taffe last October. Evans, an escapee from hospital, was wounded in a gun battle and taken to a general hospital in Denver in a serious condition. He allegedly stole a automobile to aid his escape. the car was found in Trinidad after the shooting.
Lord Curzon told the House of Lords that evacuation cannot begin until the allied military control commission reports on January 10. He noted Britain favors ending the occupation but must act with the Allies since Cologne is occupied by Belgian, French and British forces and requires allied consultation.
Berlin reports Lord Curzon forecast that the Cologne area will not be evacuated by January 10, a date tied to five years since Versailles. German foreign office says no evacuation would breach the treaty and warns that allied plans without German consultation threaten internal political consequences.

James Duncan resigns as first vice president citing entitlement by seniority. Duncan calls his move irrevocable. Green to assume duties at once and withdraws from mine workers.
Coshocton Ohio December 19 William Green known as Billy is the Welsh heritage with American birth. His parents Hugh and Jane came from Wales in 1868. William was born two years later as the first of six children. His father is now 89 and living with a daughter near the town.
