Chadwick Faces Double Forgery Indictments in Cleveland

In Cleveland on December 12, Mrs. Cassie L Chadwick faced two indictments by Cuyahoga County grand jury. The notes for 250 000 and 560 000 forged papers alleged forgery and uttering forged documents. Irm Reynolds testified he would no longer shield her while Wade Park Bank secretary confronted questions about his retained personal estate. Chadwick case widens as grand jury seeks more securities

In Cleveland on December 12 the grand jury heard five witnesses and voted indictments in the Chadwick affair. Prosecutor Keeler announced new subpoenas for Tri Kheynolde, Wade Park Bank secretary treasurer, and I W Bell, Chadwick property receiver, to produce all securities bearing Andrew Carnmer’s signature. He aims to indict others involved. the panel resumes at 4:50 a.m. and a $500,000 note allegedly signed by Andrew Carnmegic was shown, though its existence is uncertain.
